John Howard

John Howard travels with Nancy Howard whom we assume to be his wife though she could be his sister. What casts doubt as to their relationship is the last name of the child with whom they are traveling whose name is John Ceasor. These three are not in the Birchtown Muster. There is no tithable listing for William Mallery/Mallory in the tithables for Norfolk. William Marley is in the tithables for the South Side of Tanners Creek in partnership with James Nicholson though they list no John among their slaves.
