Polly Dixon

Polly was the second youngest child of Charles and Dolly Dixon. The family were Methodists. They all were enslaved to Willis Wilkinson of Nansemond County and they all ran in 1779. Polly and her younger sister Peggy are not in the Book of Negroes, they were born after the evacuation of New York.
