Silvia Green

Silvia Green is listed with her husband Adam Green and their two children Jenny and Joseph in the Birchtown Muster. Judging by the very young age of her children it is likely that she met Adam in Nova Scotia. However In the Birchtown Muster she lists Captain Brown as her claimant. Captain Brown is the captain of the ship she is traveling on - The Two Sisters. It is unclear whether there is a connection between this 'Captain' Brown and John Brown the former owner of her husband Adam. Adam serves in the Black Brigade - her statement in the BON indicates that she joined the British Troops in 1776. There remains a distinctly military feel about both these two.
