William Jordan [Jnr]

William Jordan is the infant son of William and Annie Jordan. He travels as an unnamed boy with his mother in the BON. In the Birchtown Muster William Jnr is listed as being with his father William but his mother is not listed with them. She has probable died. There is a discrepancy as to his age -in the BON he is three while in the Birchtown he is four months. this is a mistake. As the BON would seem to indicate he is more likely to be four years old. His parents were both slaves of the prominent Quaker Richard Jordan. While it is not stated it is most likely that William Jnr was born behind British lines and was therefore free from birth.
