Lancaster Herbert

Lancaster is the son of Betsey and Peter Herbert. He and his sister and Jenny formerly lived with their mother on Robert Barron's estate in the Great Bridge to Ferry Point area of Norfolk. Their father Peter was probably formerly owned by William Herbert who had property in the same area. By the time of the Birchtown Muster the family has been joined by four more infants, Nancy, Betty, Abby and Molly Herbert and the 16 year old Thomas O'Neal.
